ロイヤル・アカデミーで学んだ医師James Birch Sharpe(1789-?)による“Elements of anatomy: designed for the use of students in the fine arts（解剖学の要素：芸術を学ぶ学生用にデザインされた）”。

　本書は骨学と筋学を学ぶためのオーソドックスな美術解剖のハンドブックで、大半がテキスト、巻末に5枚の図版が掲載されている。骨格と局所の図版にはAlbinusからの影響が見られる。筋肉の図版は古典彫刻に基づいており、ボルゲーゼのグラディエーターや、自害するガリア人をモデルにしたエコルシェが描かれている。図版枚数の制約もあったためか、タイトルページの頭蓋骨を除いて側面観の図がない。
